Once your friends and family learn you have a sewing machine and aren't afraid to use it, you end up getting called on to make all kinds of random things.  From cushions to bags to boat covers, I know just enough to be dangerous.

About Me

An engineer by training, I've been playing with fabric since I was tall enough to both see over the sewing machine and work the pedal.  I tend to apply engineering principles to sewing, hence the phrase "engineering with fabric!"  I enjoy both the creative license and the precision of working with fabric and love coming up with novel solutions to life's little challenges.
