In 2015, Brett and I purchased a 22 foot Catalina Sailboat.  She was mechanically sound, but in a bit of a sad state.  Thus began our journey of learning how to restore teak, polish the hull, and generally get everything shipshape.  We made new cushions all around and covers for pretty much everything.  Once you put all that effort into spiffing things up, you've got to protect it!

About Me

An engineer by training, I've been playing with fabric since I was tall enough to both see over the sewing machine and work the pedal.  I tend to apply engineering principles to sewing, hence the phrase "engineering with fabric!"  I enjoy both the creative license and the precision of working with fabric and love coming up with novel solutions to life's little challenges.
